CBCA NSW Gala AGM 22nd September 2012

Children's Book Council of Australia NSW Branch President, Denise Cramsie, put together an amazing AGM sub-committee of CBCA NSW Committee Members under Rachel Greenwood's leadership of Lisa White, Gail Erskine and Toni Brisland. Their brief was to organise a Showcase of Authors and Illustrators to help draw a crowd to a gala afternoon tea for the unvieling of the new look CBCA NSW and the AGM on Saturday 22nd September, 2012, at the NSW Writers' Centre, Rozelle. Authors and Illustrators presenting on the day are members of both CBCA NSW and SCBWI NSW and were chosen by Toni in her capacity as Liaison Officer for both organisations and in conjunction with Susanne Gervay, Regional Advisor SCBWI. Both organisations hope to work more closely to promote NSW children's authors and illustrators. With such high profile guests, attendance on the 22nd was up to about 60 and everyone had a great time catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, networking and nibbling on delicious delights.
